"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."  These final words of St. Paul in 2 Corinthians 13:13, also form the initial priestly words of greeting in the Mass.  Then the People of God respond faithfully: "And also with you!"  This same unifying spirit of invitation and welcome has always epitomized the parish community of Resurrection since the beginning in January 1988.

From the "Founding Pastor" Bishop Emil Wcela, to the "Building Pastor" Father Tom Mulvanerty, to the "Sustaining Pastor" Father John Derasmo, to the present day, the people of the Roman Catholic Church of the Resurrection have grown through the years in the grace of God's three-fold gift: faith, hope, and love!!!  In the midst of such a diverse parish, we maintain our unity as the Body of Christ, by keeping centered on the living, the dying, and the rising of Jesus our Lord.  Resurrection is not only the greatest mystery of our Catholic Tradition, but it is also the name which so many families call their spiritual home here in Farmingville.

May Mary the Blessed Virgin Mother welcome you and your family into the vibrant life of her Son, as celebrated by the brothers and sisters in this parish community of Resurrection!
