 Monday-Thursday: 9:30am - 6:00pm Director of Religious Education: Saturday: 9:00am - 1pm 2:30pm - 5:00pm Rosemarie T. Hayman, (631) 696-0270 ext 25 Friday and Sunday: Closed Religious Education Secretary: Laurie Thorp, (631) 696-0270 ext 26

Our program is gradual, continuous, and intended for faith formation and not just sacramental preparation. The program is designed to have continuity from Level 1 to Level 8. Participants will be registered in the program upon completion of a registration form submitted with a Baptismal Certificate. Classes meet Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings and Saturday based upon Catechist availability.
The curriculum includes preparation for Sunday Liturgy, Instruction in Catholic Doctrine, age appropriate Service Projects, and in Levels 5-8 Catholic Education in Human Sexuality. Children preparing for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist receive a sacrament preparation booklet as well, to complete at home with the family. All content remains faithful to the magisterium of the Church.
The Religious Education Program offers a Mommy & Me playgroup for children ages 18 months to three years, and Noah's Ark for four and five year olds.
Instruction is provided for adults who are not baptized, or are baptized in another Christian community who desire to become Catholic. Preparation is given as well to children over the age of 7 who have not been baptized.
One of the most important Ministries in Parish life is the sharing of faith with children. Our catechists, aides, parents, and volunteers donate their time, talent, faith and love to the children of our Parish Family. We are most grateful to them for all that they do.

Each child's safety is of first and foremost importance. Therefore, all parish employees, catechists, and volunteers must consent to and pass a criminal background check and attend ongoing child protection training courses in order to begin and/or continue working with your child/children.
